Barrel House is a historic, 3-building office project totaling 90,000 RSF on 4-stories. Located along the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis, the primary buildings was constructed in 1880 as an industrial building serving as the largest manufacturer of barrels in the US. The adjacent building, constructed in 1902, served as an office and machine shop for Eastern Railway Company. Now, fully renovated into creative “brick and timber” office space, the buildings provide its occupants with multiple gathering and meeting areas throughout, a conference facility, rooftop deck, underground executive parking, and direct access to the Mississippi waterfront.

      Redline believes the preeminent opportunity for real estate investment in the current market is to concentrate on developing and acquiring underperforming office, industrial and flex properties in select U.S. markets (so called “value-add”). Additionally, such value-add projects that are considered mid-cap in size (e.g. $10 to $50 million) inherently draw interest from fewer buyers, allowing well capitalized and experienced real estate investors to act with fewer competitors.
